Tennessee State’s first Homecoming was held in 1927, when Tennessee Agricultural and Industrial State Normal School faced Fisk University.
What began as a college football gathering grew into a celebration of Tiger excellence—uniting students, alumni, families and Nashville through parades, tailgates, concerts and generations of unforgettable moments.
