Q: What do students need to enter the event?

A: Students only need their valid TSU Student ID for entry. One ID admits one student. Students must enter through the Student-Only Entrance. No Eventbrite ticket or pre-registration is required.

Q: Who needs an Eventbrite ticket?

A: All non-students must have a valid Eventbrite ticket to enter ROTY. VIP Package Holders do not need an Eventbrite ticket.

Q: Does having an Eventbrite ticket guarantee entry?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Q: What time do gates open?

A: Gates open at 11:00 AM. If capacity allows, waitlist ticket holders may enter beginning at 12:30 AM.

Q: How can I speed up the check-in process?

A: Please have your Eventbrite ticket(s) ready with the QR code visible when approaching the ticketing agent.

Q: Can SiriusXM/Pandora ticket holders receive any giveaways?

A: Yes. SiriusXM/Pandora ticket holders can redeem their tickets for swag and giveaways inside the stadium.

Q: How will Alumni Tent VIP ticket holders receive their tickets?

A: Alumni Tent VIP ticket holders will receive their ROTY tickets via Eventbrite.

Q: Can I bring lawn chairs?

A: No. Lawn chairs are not permitted inside the venue.

Q: Will any roads be closed for ROTY?

A: Yes. John A. Merritt Blvd. will be closed beginning at 32nd Avenue N. No vehicles will be allowed beyond this point.

Q: What happens when capacity is reached?

A: Once capacity is reached, no additional entry will be allowed.

Q: Is there a security checkpoint?

A: Yes. All attendees must pass through a security checkpoint prior to entry.

Q: Is there a bag policy?

A: Yes. A Clear Bag Policy is strictly enforced.

Q: Can I bring alcohol or tobacco products?

A: No. Alcohol and tobacco are prohibited in Hale Stadium and on the TSU campus.

Note: Greek and alumni tents may distribute (but not sell) alcohol within their designated areas.

Q: Where can I park for ROTY?

Parking options include:

Q: Do VIP Package holders need a separate ticket for entry?

A: No. Your VIP lanyard serves as your entry credential.

Q: Is ADA transportation available?

A: Yes. Golf carts will transport ADA guests between the ADA lot, Hale Stadium, and the Fish Fry.
